Mahkamah Agung memerintahkan PT Telkom mencabut ketentuan yang melarang masuknya pelaku usaha lain. Wartel tak lagi hanya menyediakan saluran 017.
PARA pemakai jasa wartel yang berhasrat memakai sambungan langsung internasional lewat saluran 001 dan 008 kini perlu bersabar dulu. Meski Mahkamah Agung sudah mengetukkan palu menyatakan PT Telkom harus mencabut pemblokiran dua saluran itu, putusan itu ternyata belum sampai ke kantor pusat Telkom di Bandung. ”Kami belum menerima putusan itu,” kata juru bicara PT Telkom, Eddy Kurnia. The Supreme Court orders PT Telkom to revoke its provision banning the entry of other business players. Wartel no longer only provide channel 017.
WARTEL (telecommunication shops) users interested in making direct international calls through channels 001 and 008 should be patient for a while. Despite the Supreme Court’s decision requiring PT Telkom to annul the blocking of both channels, the verdict turns out to have not reached Telkom headquarters in Bandung yet. “We haven’t received the decision,” said a spokesman for Telkom, Eddy Kurnia.
